Go-Karting Prague – The Stag Activity Everyone Actually Wants to Do

Some stag activities need a bit of convincing. Go-karting is not one of them. Mention it to a group and watch everyone immediately start talking about who's going to win. That's exactly why it's one of the most popular stag activities in Prague — and why it works every single time.

There's something about putting a group of blokes behind the wheel that brings out the best kind of competitive nonsense. It doesn't matter if half the group has never been karting before — within ten minutes everyone's invested, everyone's trying to cut corners, and someone is already making excuses for their lap time.

It's affordable, it's genuinely fun, and it doesn't require anyone to be in peak physical condition. For a stag weekend in Prague, it ticks every box.

We run this at a professional karting venue on the northeastern edge of Prague, away from the tourist crowds and built properly for serious track time. The circuit runs to around 930 metres combining both indoor and outdoor sections, and the karts are proper machines — Praga Classic 210cc and Tillotson Racing 230cc — not the underpowered tourist versions you find in city-centre venues.

We've been bringing stag groups here for years and have a standing reservation agreement with the venue. That means no waiting in line — you show up, you get your briefing, you drive.

The track sits outside the city centre, but that's not a problem. Your guide meets the group at your accommodation and takes everyone out by public transport — no navigating an unfamiliar city, no splitting into multiple taxis, no one getting lost.

At the venue you'll get a full safety briefing, helmet and gloves sorted, then everyone gets two rounds of ten minutes each behind the wheel. A big screen in the chill-out area shows live speed data for each driver, so there's no hiding a slow lap. Winner is whoever completes the most laps in the least time. Losers buy the next round.

What's Included

  • Guide from your accommodation to the venue and back
  • 2 x 10-minute drives per person
  • Round of beer included
  • Full safety briefing, helmet and gloves provided

TIP: No time to eat before you head out? Don't worry about it. The venue has a proper on-site restaurant serving BBQ, burgers and steaks — nothing fancy, just good food at honest prices. Beer is noticeably cheaper out here than anything you'd pay in the city centre, which is a bonus when the group is already in the mood to celebrate a few good lap times.
