The Game Where the Groom Is the Target

Every stag weekend needs one activity nobody's played before. Foot-Darts is that one. Take a giant inflatable dartboard, hoist the stag himself up onto it, and let the rest of the group take aim with soft velcro balls. The soft Velcro balls are designed for the game, but as with any physical activity, normal care should be taken. That means the groom can relax (slightly) while his mates line up their shots.

No football skills required. No fitness test either. Just a decent sense of humour and a willingness to have your best man take aim at you.

In the warmer months, water balloons sometimes make an appearance too, though that's more the exception than the rule and depends entirely on the weather on the day.

How It Works

Your English-speaking guide meets the group at your accommodation and takes you out to the venue by public transport. It's a straightforward trip, and your guide handles the logistics so nobody's stuck squinting at a metro map. If your group would rather skip the ride, your guide can help arrange an affordable taxi instead.

Once you're there, it's an hour of Foot-Darts: the stag takes his turn on the board while the rest of the group aims, then everyone rotates through. A cold beer in hand throughout keeps the whole thing exactly as relaxed as it should be.

After the match, you head back into the city together, ready for whatever's next on the schedule.

FAQ

1. Do we need any football experience? No. Foot-Darts isn't about skill, it's about aim, laughs, and giving the groom a hard time. Complete beginners do just as well as anyone else.

2. Is this activity suitable for everyone in the group? The activity is suitable for a wide range of fitness levels, making it a great choice for mixed groups.

3. How far is the venue? By public transport, count on around 45 to 60 minutes each way. By taxi it's closer to 30 minutes. Your guide takes you there by public transport, but can help arrange an affordable taxi if your group prefers. If you'd rather skip the logistics entirely, our private transfer version is also available.

4. How long does the activity last? One hour of gameplay, plus travel time to and from the venue with your guide. For groups larger than 15 people, the session runs a little longer to make sure everyone gets their turn.

5. Is there a minimum or maximum group size? The minimum is 8 people, and there's no real upper limit. We've had groups of over 100.

6. Can we add unlimited beer? Yes, just let us know when booking and we'll put together a new price for you. There's also a bar on-site if anyone wants something stronger.
